Summary
MNTN is seeking a Head of Compensation to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves shaping and executing MNTN's compensation strategy and advising senior leadership on compensation matters.
About the Role
As the Head of Compensation, you will develop and lead the company's compensation strategy, including salary, bonus, commission, and equity programs. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Chief People Officer and executive leadership, design commission structures, manage compensation benchmarking, and ensure compliance with compensation laws. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to align compensation initiatives with company goals and build a high-performing compensation team.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience reporting to and working closely with executive leadership.
- Deep expertise in variable compensation design, including sales commission structures.
- Strong knowledge of compensation analytics, modeling, and benchmarking practices.
- Experience managing compensation in fast-paced, high-growth, and global environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
