Summary
BioSpace is seeking a Head of Quality Control to join their team in Lexington, MA. The role involves leading Quality Control operations, overseeing analytical chemistry, microbiology, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
About the Role
As the Head of Quality Control, you will manage the QC laboratory functions, ensuring rigorous testing and compliance with internal and external standards. You will lead a 24/7 QC laboratory team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a contamination control program. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing your team while implementing digital innovations in the QC laboratory.
About You
Required:
- BS in Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 10+ years of experience, 7 of which should be in a management role.
- Knowledge of FDA, EMA, CFDA, PDA Regulations, and application of Good Data and Documentation Practices (GDDP).
- Experience in interfacing and/or leading regulatory audits.
- Demonstrated success in managing a large team.
Preferred:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
- Familiarity with digital innovation in laboratory settings.
