About the Role
As the Head of TPA Technical, you will provide line leadership for Managers overseeing TPA technical claims for high-value liability and workers' compensation claims. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, managing TPA relationships, driving data-driven decision making, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will also represent AXA XL externally and oversee day-to-day claim operations while managing risk across TPAs.
About You
Required:
- Demonstrated leadership in diversified claims environments with deep experience in liability and WC claims management.
- Proven ability to negotiate, settle, and resolve complex files.
- Proficient knowledge of multi-jurisdictional insurance coverage law and claim regulations.
- Effective coaching and people-management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- Undergraduate degree required; law degree or professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred.
- State adjuster licenses or equivalent credentials.
