About the Role
As the Head of Vision Intelligence, you will lead AI core technology research and development, collaborate with Samsung Research teams to innovate products using new AI technology, and ensure the publication of research in top conferences and journals. You will also be responsible for organizing scientific events and managing a team of engineers and researchers.
About You
Required:
- PhD degree and 12+ years’ work experience in Computer Vision related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Understanding of state-of-the-art Computer Vision theories, techniques, and optimization strategies.
- Industry experience leading innovative projects in research environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams.
- Experience leading teams of machine learning/computer vision specialists and CV-related product development.
Preferred:
- Strong background in programming.
- Publications in CV-related fields (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, etc.).
