About the Role
As a Health & Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for designing programs to identify and eliminate workplace hazards, conducting compliance assessments, and providing training on health and safety regulations. You will also develop methods for predicting hazards, review safety plans, and support project health and safety requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a health and safety specialist.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of local, state and federal health and safety regulations.
Preferred:
- CIH or CSP certifications.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a health and safety specialist.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
