About the Role
As a Health Information Manager, you will implement health information systems, collaborate with clinical staff to improve documentation quality, manage patient portal accuracy, oversee coding vendor partnerships, perform audits for compliance, and analyze health information for process improvement. You will supervise the Medical Staff Office assistant and report to the Sr. Director of Medical Operations.
About You
Required:
- 5–7+ years in HIM or health information/medical records roles, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of HIM regulations, coding, billing, and clinical documentation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Health Administration, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in a hospital or large healthcare system.
- Certifications such as RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) preferred; CCS/RHIT or other relevant certifications a plus.
