Datavant is seeking a Health Information Operations Manager to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves managing operations, account management, and leading a team to ensure compliance and improve patient outcomes.
About the Role
As a Health Information Operations Manager, you will serve as the primary Account Manager to customers, mentor staff, manage P&L for operations with over $3M in revenue, oversee the delivery of patient health records, ensure compliance with HIPAA standards, and drive continuous improvement efforts. You will also develop workflows, manage payroll processes, and act as a knowledge expert for HIS staff.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of Health Information Management (HIM)-related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of leadership experience or 5+ years of leadership experience without a degree.
- Proven ability to lead teams of 50+ members and drive performance.
- Strong customer service background with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior ROI management experience.
- RHIT or RHIA credentials.
- MHA or HIM-related degree.
