About the Role
As a Health Information Records Analyst I, you will learn the fundamentals of health records and health information management (HIM). Your responsibilities will include processing health records, answering phone calls, and developing an understanding of scanning methodologies. You will work in an office environment and be accountable for complying with all organization policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).
Preferred:
- Experience with health information management systems.
- Familiarity with medical record processing and scanning methodologies.
