About the Role
As a Health Information Specialist I, you will process all release of information (ROI) requests, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure accuracy in handling medical records. You will work in a high-volume environment, documenting information across multiple platforms and utilizing Microsoft Office tools. Your role will also involve responding to requests for patient records and assisting with administrative duties as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with general office equipment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
