As a Health Unit Coordinator, you will manage the overall unit workflow in collaboration with the charge RN and/or assistant manager. Your responsibilities include providing accurate information to patients, addressing concerns, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring effective communication within the team. You will also handle medical records, transcribe orders, and assist in maintaining patient confidentiality.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing.
Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use interpreter services effectively.
Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred:

One year of experience in an administrative role in a medical office or hospital setting.
