About the Role
As a Healthcare Authorization Specialist I, you will be responsible for ensuring that insurance benefits are verified, communicating patient responsibility estimates to patients and families, and securing authorizations for all assigned service types. You will perform other duties as assigned under general supervision.
About You
Required:
- H.S Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
- 1 Year of Healthcare Authorization Experience or 2 years of Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience With Epic Or Other EMR Systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages that meet business needs of the department.
