About the Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, conducting fleet inspections, documenting findings, replacing worn parts, utilizing welding and fabrication skills, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety protocols, and providing mentorship to mechanic helpers.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a diesel mechanic
- Proficient with Microsoft Software; Excel, Word, Office, etc.
- Ability to read and record measurements with precision
Preferred:
- Tech Schooling Experience
- Proficient in welding, soldering, brazing, pipe fitting
