About the Role
As a Herpetology Curatorial Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Collection Manager in ensuring the integrity and preservation of physical collections, managing associated data, and participating in the organization of fluid, tissue, and dry collections. Your tasks will include maintaining the collection database, processing specimen loans, and assisting in the acquisition and cataloging of new specimens.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to work a minimum of 4 hours per week as demonstrated by availability in application materials.
- Must be comfortable handling fluid-preserved specimens of amphibians and reptiles as stated and evidenced by application materials.
Preferred:
- Interest in Biology and Biodiversity Collections as stated and evidenced by application materials.
