As a High Performance Computing Technical Support Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining HPC systems availability, managing system software and firmware, solving hardware and software issues, and providing detailed analysis and solutions. You will also create documentation, manage customer inquiries, and contribute to the company's solutions portfolio while ensuring customer satisfaction.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of work experience in a relevant field.
- DOE Q Clearance required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL or SLES), workload management systems, parallel file systems, networking, and security.
Preferred:
- Direct experience with multiple programming and scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, C, FORTRAN).
- Experience with project planning and management, process management, and team or project leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer relations, and problem management skills.
