LYONS USD 405 is seeking a High School Media Aide/Librarian to assist the Media Center Specialist in all phases of media center operation in Lyons, KS.
About the Role
As a High School Media Aide/Librarian, you will support the Media Center Specialist in facilitating the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. Your responsibilities will include establishing a positive learning environment, ensuring compliance with guidelines, operating media center equipment, and assisting with instructional activities. You will also be involved in maintaining student behavior, supervising students, and participating in staff development opportunities.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Appropriate License.
- Good employment record, including math and spelling ability tests, interview, references, and previous experience with children.
- Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the Central Office (after employment offer is made).
Preferred:
- Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performance.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with members of the school district and community.
