About the Role
As a High Voltage Substations Project Manager, you will oversee cross-functional engineering, design, and construction teams, manage project budgets, labor hours, and compliance documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. You will also contribute to project proposals, develop work breakdown structures, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power Systems, Civil), Engineering Technology, Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 7–10 years of progressive post-education experience in a project management role delivering high voltage and/or extra-high voltage electrical substation projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of the project delivery lifecycle within the A/E/C industry.
- Well-developed analytical and organizational skills.
- Competent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential project management certification required (e.g., PMP).
