About the Role
As a Higher Education Regulatory and Accreditation Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for advising clients on Title IV, financial aid, accreditation, and structural changes in ownership. You will contribute to the development of firm knowledge and educational resources related to higher education law, manage projects independently, and interface with clients. The position may require occasional travel to client meetings and conferences.
About You
Required:
- At least eight years of legal experience, including three years specialized in higher education regulatory matters.
- Demonstrated experience with Title IV, accreditation, and institutional structural changes.
Preferred:
- Experience with higher education regulatory agencies and accrediting agencies.
- Knowledge of privacy law beyond FERPA, research, healthcare, consumer finance, and student funding mechanisms.
