Turning Pointe Autism Foundation is seeking a Foundation Intern to join their team in Naperville, IL. The role involves assisting in various areas of non-profit management and community engagement initiatives.
About the Role
As a Foundation Intern, you will rotate through different departments, learning about the organization's mission and supporting the Foundation's goals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with administration, fundraising, events, social media, and community outreach efforts. You will also engage with local businesses for sponsorships and help manage projects that benefit student employees.
About You
Required:
High school degree (or equivalent) preferred.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Canva.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
