About the Role
As a Histotechnician/Histotechnologist, you will demonstrate complete knowledge of CoPath related to Histology workflow, process various types of tissue samples, comply with departmental policies, and perform quality control checks. You will also prepare surgical and autopsy tissue specimens for embedding, cutting, staining, and coverslipping, ensuring adherence to specific protocols.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or successful completion of a NAACLS-accredited Histotechnician program within the last 5 years.
- Licensure: HT (ASCP) required within 18 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university with a combination of 30 semester hours in biology and chemistry.
- 1 year of full-time experience in a histology laboratory.
