About the Role
As a Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for performing frozen section preparations, routine and special stains, and immune histochemical stains. You will assist with autopsies, prepare and organize tissue specimens, and ensure accurate specimen handling for testing. Additionally, you will operate and maintain histology equipment and complete daily procedures with accuracy.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a HT or HTL (ASCP) program and must obtain certification within one year of completing the program or 1 year from hire date.
- Certified HT or HTL (ASCP) with 1 year of experience or an uncertified HT with at least 3 years of experience.
