About the Role
As a Hoist Operator 2, you will be responsible for operating equipment to move finished products, supplying the manufacturing department with materials, staging products for shipment, maintaining inventory, and performing routine inspections on hoists. You will also adhere to safety policies and may perform battery service duties and other related tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Knowledge of how to operate a fork lift truck and its load capacity.
- Ability to identify dimensions required for moving loads and placing them appropriately.
- Knowledge of the storage area layout for efficient item placement.
Preferred:
- Experience in operating fork lift trucks in tight spaces.
- Greater knowledge and skill than Hoist Operator 1 in handling controls for driving fork lift and/or clamp trucks.
