Pacific Clinics is seeking Home-Based Educators to join their team in Glendale, CA. The role involves providing family-centered services and home-based education to support child development and parental roles.
About the Role
As a Home-Based Educator, you will conduct weekly home visits, implement developmentally appropriate curricula, assist families in supporting their children's social and emotional development, and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. You will also work closely with parents to develop individual plans for their children and maintain documentation for ongoing assessment and evaluation.
About You
Required:
A.A./A.S. Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education (ECE), or related degree required.
Knowledge and experience in Child Development and early childhood education.
Must maintain DOJ, FBI, and Child abuse Index Clearance.
Must possess a current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification.
Demonstrated ability to work in a Windows environment (including Word and Excel).
Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
Preferred:
B.A./B.S. Degree in Child Development or related field.
Some coursework in social work, human services, family services, and/or counseling.
