About the Role
As a Home Health Aid, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and engagement of clients. Your duties will include personal care, light housework, meal preparation, shopping, companionship, incontinence care, dementia care, and assisting with daily living activities. You will tailor activities to meet the unique interests of each client, creating meaningful moments in their lives.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in caregiving.
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Fully vaccinated or have an exemption.
- Current TB skin test or clear X-ray.
- Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan).
- CA Home Care Aid (HCA) Registry - able to obtain through Golden Years.
- Willing to travel up to 25 miles for a shift if needed.
