About the Role
As the Hospice Area Director of Education, you will collaborate with market leadership and subject matter experts to assess training needs, develop educational programs, and lead performance improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include designing training for clinical and non-clinical staff, enhancing onboarding experiences, conducting skills assessments, and ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of hospice clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Proficient patient assessment skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred; required within 12 months of hire.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Home Care Home Base (HCHB).
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
