About the Role
As a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating bereavement activities, providing counseling or group support options to families, and participating in Bereavement Department programs. You will work closely with families to offer emotional and spiritual support during their time of need.
About You
Required:
- Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Specialized training in the area of death and dying.
- At least two years of hospice experience.
- New York State Driver's license.
