About the Role
As a Hospice Nurse, RN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with hospice guidelines. Your daily tasks will include creating positive experiences for patients and families, maintaining electronic documentation, supervising LPNs and paraprofessionals, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
About You
Required:
- Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of one-year experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting
- Evidence of leadership qualities
- Ability to understand and communicate well with patients, family, staff, physicians, and the public
- Maintain current CPR certification (BCLS)
- Possess valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with terminally ill patients
