About the Role
As a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for triaging patient and caregiver calls after hours, providing clinical guidance and symptom management, and completing urgent in-person visits as needed. You will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and document all assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR system. This position operates on a rotating 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, primarily remote with field support as needed.
About You
Required:
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to work independently and make accurate judgments.
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Active patient contact within the past three years.
- Current CPR card; Hands-on CPR certification preferred.
