About the Role
As a Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care, triage phone calls, evaluate patient conditions through home visits, and provide emotional support. Your responsibilities will include administering medication, alleviating symptoms, assisting families with paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and offering post-mortem support.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed in NJ as a Registered Nurse by New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
- One year of RN experience.
- Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills and knowledge of case management processes.
- Licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred:
- Hospice experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
