About the Role
As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the care of terminally ill patients. Your duties will include providing triage support, administering medications, preparing clinical notes, and ensuring patient comfort. You will also conduct assessments, develop care plans, and communicate with physicians regarding patient needs.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Valid/active nursing license (RN).
- Valid CPR certification.
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
Preferred:
- Prior home health care or acute care experience.
- Management experience.
Benefits
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.48/mile.
- Pay of $50/hour for in-person visits plus daily on-call rates ($100/day on Friday, $150/day on Saturday and Sunday).
