As a Hospital Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist - Float, you will work directly with medical providers to coordinate patient testing needs, navigate hospital settings, perform blood collections, and manage patient flow. You will also handle customer service-related issues and perform administrative duties as necessary.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist performing venipunctures.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred:
- AAMA or CMA accreditation.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Experience with pediatric draws & neonatal draws.
