About the Role
As a Hospital Medicine APP, you will work under the direction of the collaborating hospital medicine attending, responsible for assessing acute and chronic patient illnesses, obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, formulating treatment plans, and counseling patients and families. You will also provide cross-coverage for patients on inpatient units.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or a Master's Program in Nursing.
- At least one year of Advanced Practice experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or related fields.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Certification and current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Preferred:
- Board certification as AGACNP for Nurse Practitioners.
- Experience with documentation of registration for NCCPA Board administration.
