About the Role
As a Nocturnist Physician, you will work exclusively overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, participating in a 7 on/off model with 15 shifts per month. You will be responsible for rounding and admitting patients, working in an open ICU environment, and responding to Rapid Response and Code Blues. Collaboration with a team of 6 clinicians, including hospitalist physicians and APPs, is essential to ensure quality patient care.
About You
Required:
- Board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with inpatient experience.
- Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and delivering patient care during nighttime hours.
Preferred:
- Experience in an open ICU environment.
- Familiarity with procedural requirements, although not mandatory.
Benefits
- Compensation of $2200 per night shift.
- Full-time nocturnist yearly compensation of $400,400.
