Summary
AdventHealth is seeking a Hospitalist to join their team in DeLand, Florida. The role involves providing inpatient care on a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts.
About the Role
As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing patient care in a collaborative environment, working with specialists and advanced practice providers. You will have a block schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, with a total of 182 shifts annually. The position does not require procedures, but they can be performed if desired. You will utilize the Epic EMR system and be part of a supportive community hospital.
About You
Required:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA license
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
