About the Role
As a Host Home Provider / Caregiver, you will open your home to an adult with developmental disabilities or a brain injury, providing care, support, and mentorship. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing nutritious meals, personal hygiene support, transportation, and ensuring access to community resources. You will act as an advocate for the individual, helping them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
About You
Required:
- 21 years old or older
- Have a private room available in your home
- Each person 12 years old or older living in the home must pass a background check
- Complete a home certification process prior to placement
- Have a safe suitable home
Preferred:
- Experience in caregiving or support roles
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to provide mentorship and support
