About the Role
As a Hosting Admin/Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating the deployment of technical solutions, and developing templates, playbooks, and automation for implementation. You will also look for opportunities to improve efficiency and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience.
- Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl.
- Basic working knowledge of regular expressions.
- Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl).
- Good communication skills to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, and end users.
- Creative individual with a track record of implementing innovative technology solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and/or AutoSys.
- Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Glassbox, Tealeaf, or other real-user experience monitoring tools.
