About the Role
As a House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a residential program for individuals with intellectual disabilities, potentially including those with behavioral challenges. You will coordinate efforts with an interdisciplinary treatment team and supervise approximately six to eight Direct Support Professionals (DSP I & II). This position requires on-call rotation and flexibility in hours.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with less than two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and less than four years but at least two years of work experience with intellectual disabilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent education and three years of work experience with intellectual disabilities and supervisory experience.
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with mentally, emotionally ill, and/or behaviorally challenged individuals or autism.
- Counseling education and/or experience.
- Teaching and/or other experience in the field of education.
- Nursing, nurse's aide, or other experience in the field of health care.
