About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms and other areas of the facility, following a regular cleaning schedule, and ensuring that the environment is safe and comfortable for residents. You will coordinate with nursing services, dispose of refuse, and maintain cleaning supplies. The position requires adherence to sanitation procedures and participation in in-service education programs.
About You
Required:
- Willingness to perform a variety of simple repetitive tasks, many of which will involve unpleasant conditions.
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a nursing facility.
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
