About the Role
As a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for securing soiled linen and personal clothing, maintaining work areas in a clean and safe manner, sorting and distributing clean laundry, and ensuring that cleaning schedules are followed. You will also be tasked with properly storing equipment and supplies.
About You
Required:
- Completion of elementary education or ability to read, write and follow directions in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking.
