About the Role
As a Housing Specialist, you will identify and secure housing for refugees, lead outreach efforts to engage landlords and property managers, develop networks to increase housing opportunities, coordinate logistics for housing set-ups, and maintain accurate documentation. You will also communicate IRC's mission to potential housing partners and may train support staff and volunteers.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of housing related professional experience required.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations preferred.
