About the Role
As a Scientist in the HPC Programming & Runtime Environments Team, you will provide software environments for HPC users, maintain testing infrastructure, support compilers and libraries, and work with CI/CD processes. You will also compose and run test suites for system health checking and performance benchmarking, and may take on additional responsibilities if hired at the Scientist 2 level, including technical leadership and mentoring.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
- 2 years of related experience for Scientist 1 or 4 years for Scientist 2, including post-doctoral research experience.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming.
- Experience with HPC computing environments and supporting infrastructure.
- Familiarity with software debugging tools and methods, especially HPC specific tools.
