About the Role
As an HPC Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and debugging hardware, firmware, and software for HPC & AI products. Your tasks will include managing inventory, providing technical support, maintaining documentation, and ensuring efficient operation of the computer lab. You will also work closely with engineers to meet their hardware and software needs and provide remote hands-on support for hardware-related issues.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in compute server or storage product support.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Experience with inventory management and procurement processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues quickly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with computer hardware installation and maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with PCI Express, NVMe, x86 platforms, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Shell scripting and/or Python scripting.
- Experience with HPC & AI computing.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and purchasing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard IT security and compliance requirements.
