Guidehouse is seeking an HR and Payroll Systems Modernization Portfolio Project Manager to join their team in Washington, DC. The role involves managing projects related to HR and Payroll modernization initiatives, data migration, and system integrations.
About the Role
As the HR and Payroll Systems Modernization Portfolio Project Manager, you will manage individual projects under the Strategic Project Management Office, including drafting and maintaining project plans, providing program updates to senior leadership, coordinating with various teams, facilitating meetings, and tracking system integrations across multiple modernization efforts.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of six (6)+ years of relevant experience in program or project management for enterprise-scale IT modernization or business transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- US Citizenship due to client project requirements.
- PMP - Project Management Professional certification.
- Proven ability to manage large programs with multiple workstreams and high interdependencies.
- Strong command of industry-standard PM methodologies (PMP, Agile, hybrid approaches).
- Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Agile Certification (such as PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent).
- Hands-on familiarity with ServiceNow HR workflows or HR process modernization initiatives.
- Prior involvement in implementing Single Source of Truth (SSoT) data architectures.
- Federal consulting experience and/or managing PMO environments.
- Technology certifications related to IT Modernization initiatives.
- Direct experience with SaaS Payroll solutions (Ceridian, Workday, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
