HTI Polymer, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager to join their team in Woodinville, WA. The role involves overseeing employee welfare, managing staffing needs, and enhancing workplace culture.
About the Role
As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring employee safety and wellness, attracting and hiring skilled craftspeople, managing benefits and pay structures, and promoting a positive workplace culture. You will also handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensure compliance with HR policies, resolve conflicts, and manage office tasks. Additionally, you will be part of the management team and engage in special projects as assigned.
About You
Required:
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in human resources and office management, including at least five (5) years in a generalist role.
Comprehensive knowledge of human resources processes, principles, and employment laws.
Experience working across multiple states with a minimum of 3 years of working experience with California labor laws.
A stable and progressive work history in similar roles within organizations of comparable size or larger.
Proven track record in developing, implementing, and executing effective human resources practices.
Strong critical thinking abilities and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Capable of operating Windows 11 and learning systems like Adobe, Sage 300, and other similar applications.
Able to type at an average speed of 50-60 WPM.
Skilled in writing clear, professional, and concise emails.
Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
Experience in the construction industry.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and HRCI certification is an advantage.
