About the Role
As an HR Specialist, you will partner with the General Manager and HR Director to maintain HR files, ensure fair compensation administration, conduct performance evaluations, and implement corporate HR initiatives. You will create strategic partnerships to promote positive employee relations, coordinate recruitment efforts, manage grievance procedures, and establish office policies for efficient operations.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of human resources generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word, and HRIS software.
Preferred:
- PHR certification.
- Ability to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to work evening and night shifts periodically.
