WestRock Company is seeking an HR Summer Intern to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing comprehensive training experiences for emerging human resources professionals.
About the Role
As an HR Summer Intern, you will support the HR team with various projects spanning employee relations, compliance, talent management, and more. You will gain exposure to key HR focus areas including Labor Relations, HR Compliance, HRIS Systems, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Performance Management. The internship includes mentorship, professional development training, and collaboration on initiatives that align HR strategy with broader business goals.
About You
Required:
- Current enrollment or recent completion of a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or other related field.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in a long-term HR career.
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively.
- Willingness to work in production/plant locations (non-corporate environments).
- Relocation flexibility.
Preferred:
- Current enrollment or recent completion of a Master’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or other related field.
