Summary
Global Refuge is seeking an HS/PRS Case Manager for the New England region (RI + CT) to provide case management and supportive services to unaccompanied immigrant children released from federal custody.
About the Role
As an HS/PRS Case Manager, you will conduct home visits and phone contacts to assess the safety and appropriateness of children's placements, provide ongoing case management, crisis intervention services, and maintain documentation in compliance with organizational policies. You will also utilize social work best practices for assessments and maintain communication with supervisors regarding children's well-being.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with child welfare programs.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
- Excellent clinical and crisis intervention skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services.
- Knowledge of and experience working with refugee or immigrant children.
- Cross-cultural or international experience.
