Town of Braintree is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee all human resources functions for the Town, including veterans' services.
About the Role
As the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and supervising all human resources functions. This includes managing recruitment, employee benefits, collective bargaining agreements, and compliance with employment laws. You will also oversee the department's budget and ensure the effective management of personnel files and HR information systems.
About You
Required:
Master's degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources or similar field.
10 years of progressively responsible experience in public or governmental human resources, with 3 years in a management capacity.
Preferred:
Strong public human resources background highly desirable.
Knowledge of HR systems, policies, and procedure development.
