Summary
Employee Navigator is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Bethesda, MD. The role involves balancing strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day operations, supporting employees and managers, and overseeing HR AI initiatives.
About the Role
As a Human Resources Manager, you will lead onboarding, manage benefits administration, maintain the AI HR assistant tool, assist with annual reporting, partner with Finance/Payroll on compliance, and support recruiting efforts. You will also provide administrative support for company events and continuously improve HR processes to support growth.
About You
Required:
- 4–6 years of progressive HR experience (onboarding, benefits, and compliance).
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) required.
- Experience working in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in a growth-stage software or technology company.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar).
- Experience with AI tools in HR processes.
