About the Role
As a Human Services Adjunct, you will be responsible for teaching various Human Services courses, including Introduction to Addictive Drugs, Relapse Prevention, and Family Counseling. You will provide quality teaching, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with students and faculty. This position is part-time and reviewed quarterly, with applicants considered for future vacancies.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree from an Accredited College or University in Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Current Substance Use Disorder Professional credential (SUDP) in Washington State.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- College teaching experience.
- Experience working in a treatment setting.
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) credential.
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- Availability to teach during the day, between 9 am-5 pm, one day per week.
- Willingness to learn to use an online learning management system (Canvas).
