Summary
Samsung Semiconductor is seeking an HVAC Engineer to join their Facilities HVAC Engineering Team in Taylor, TX. The role involves overseeing central utilities essential to the operation of semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities.
About the Role
As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational sustainability of facilities and equipment, reviewing and analyzing process and equipment data, and providing technical leadership for HVAC systems. You will work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with air permit requirements and support the overall process exhaust air system management.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of experience in facilities, mechanical systems, or HVAC & MEP design and construction.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE Standards and strong analytical skills.
Preferred:
- PE license, EIT or PMP certification.
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems including pumps, pneumatics, and heat transfer.
